IPMA

Primakon and IPMA.

Primakon is an IPMA REG Training Provider within the IPMA Education and Training Registration System (IPMA REG). Primakon has a registered program called “Project Management Academy – Project Management and Preparation for IPMA Certification Trainings” under which they offer training.

International Project Management Association The International Project Management Association is an international non-profit organization dedicated to the promotion and continuing development of project management as a profession. IPMA is active in more than 70 countries around the world, with a representative in each country. In the Republic of Croatia IPMA is represented by the Croatian Association for Project Management . Primakon is also the training partner of the Croatian Association for Project Management. We are authorized to hold preparatory training according to the IPMA 4-L-C certification system.

IPMA certification transparent

IPMA continuing professional development hours (CPDs).

Through the IPMA CPD system it is possible to ensure the continued development of certified individuals according to the IPMA standard. Every IPMA certificate holder must, during a five year period (starting with the day of receiving the certificate), enclose evidence of continued participation in project, program, or portfolio management (depending on the certificate level) and evidence of continuing professional development (CPDs).

The requirements for the various levels of recertification are described in the table below:

Experience in the domain required by the candidate:

  • Proof of at least 30 months of practical experience during a five-year period
  • Complexity
  • Leading others
  • At least 35 hours of continued professional development during the year (175 hours total) since the last (re)certification

Along with proof of practical experience, it is necessary to accumulate at least 35 CPD hours a year (175 CPDs in 5 years since the last certification). This can be achieved at seminars organized by Primakon.
